10003 - Arson, Morristown


On Saturday, May 29, 2010 at approximately 12:42AM, The Morristown Police and Fire Departments responded to a fire at 271 Speedwell Avenue, Morristown, NJ. Members of the Morristown Police and Fire Departments assisted in evacuating numerous residents from the building.

The investigation revealed that the fire was caused by an intentional act of arson. The fire caused damage to the boarding house and displaced the occupants.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and the Morristown Bureau of Police are asking the public’s help in solving this crime.
