16002 - Hit and Run Morris Plains
Morris Plains Police
Department is currently investigating a Hit & Run motor vehicle accident that
occurred on May 5th, 2016 around 11:56 PM on West Hanover Avenue near
QuickChek. A family's dog perished as a
result of being struck by an unknown vehicle. The unknown vehicle continued
traveling west on West Hanover Avenue.
We are asking the public's
help with identifying the vehicle and its driver or anyone who may have observed
anything. We encourage anyone with information to contact the Morris Plains
